It has been almost a year since the Disaster Preparedness forum with PHIVOLCS Director Dr. Renato Solidum was held in Bel-Air, wherein he spoke about the impending natural hazards which can lead to a major disaster.
And it has been more than 2 years since Go-Bags and Medicine Kits were distributed to all households. We would therefore like to remind all residents to check the contents of their Go-Bags and Medicine Kits for items that have expired or need to be replaced -- canned goods, bottled water, crackers and instant noodles, medicine, batteries, flashlight bulbs -- and to replenish these. Now is also an opportune time to check the status of fire extinguishers and other emergency tools in the house.
For residents with the Disaster Preparedness Manual, kindly review this and please be aware of who their Phase, Cluster and Street leaders are as well as their contact numbers.
Our Security Force will undergo a refresher training this January.
We would also like to remind residents who will be on vacation this holiday season leaving the house vacant to kindly inform the Security Office so they can conduct an extra surveillance and monitoring at your house while you’re away.
